Baby Maverick {Arizona Newborn Photographer}

I've had several newborn photo shoots lately, which is just fine with me! I love photographing these little babies when they are so new to the world. This is Maverick, the son of my best friend and her husband, little brother to my daughter Cecelia's best friend Maddy. I got to go see Maverick in the hospital when he was only a day old and take some pictures of him. He is such a cute little guy and I'm seriously counting down the minutes until I get to go photograph him again. I really can't wait for my new little girl to arrive so I can photograph the two of them together!!

**I promise he isn't crying in this first photo... really, he loves his Aunt Claire!! He was just yawning! I wore him out during our photo session.

Welcome to the World Kylee Anne! {Arizona Newborn Photographer}

Meet Kylee Anne, not even 12 hours old in these photos! Yesterday she turned one month old and I was horrified to realize I hadn't yet posted these sweet photos from when I was invited to visit and photograph her at the hospital. *sigh* Newborn babies are so precious! I can't wait for my new little one to arrive. Only about 8-10 more weeks!

November Sessions & Maternity Leave

November is only a week away and my available sessions for the month are quickly filling up!! If you would like to schedule a photo session in time for Christmas card photos and before I start my maternity leave, please contact me immediately to set that up!

My maternity leave will be starting at the end of November and as of right now, I will not be taking clients until March at which point it will be on a very limited basis.

Is it just me or is time just racing by!? I can't believe that we are now over half way through October. My most favourite month of the year is almost done and it feels like it just began!

I don't have a lot of pictures to share today- just two actually, but this is my most favourite subject to photograph... my absolutely adorable little girl, Cecelia. While we were in Utah visiting my family at the beginning of the month I had hoped to do a photo shoot as Cecelia recently hit the 2 1/2 year mark. Well the weather was much colder than I thought it would be, so I just took 10/15 minutes while we were walking around Temple Square in Salt Lake to capture a few images of Cecelia at this very fun age. These are my favourite photos from the very mini "session". I realize that I'm posting one image twice... I just love both edits and can't decide which one to hang on my wall!!

While I'm on here blogging, a little bit of house keeping-

* Mini Sessions are officially closed. Thanks to all of those who took advantage of them!
* The September Special is still in effect... schedule soon and get a free custom design with your paid photo session
* I'm starting to look pregnant! And eventually I'll be feeling pregnant so I've scheduled my maternity leave... I will not be taking any clients after Wednesday November 18th, unless arrangements have already been made. My maternity leave is tentatively scheduled to end the beginning of March and I will be taking clients on a very limited basis for the first little while. If you would like to get your holiday photos done I recommend scheduling very soon... November 18th will be here before we know it!
